Tyler writes the binding flat figure. Whatever number he writes is the number Kai signs is the number that lands on your final invoice — no per-pound reweigh after the truck leaves, no Matson surcharge surprise on the back end, no “sorry the container weighed more” phone call after the sail.
Four basics is all we need to start
Origin address, destination address, bedroom count of the property as it stands today, and the rough window for the move-day. From those four items Nalani can tell you on the first call which lane (on-island Maui, inter-island via Matson or Pasha, or mainland Pacific via Long Beach, Oakland or Tacoma), which sail schedule fits, what container size is going to make sense, and roughly where the binding flat figure will land. Send them through the form below or call the WMP desk at [bc_phone].
The walk-through
Tyler does either in-home (free, Maui-wide, scheduled within forty-eight hours of the first call) or video walkthrough (preferred for off-island sellers and snowbirds who have already flown). The walkthrough takes twenty to forty minutes depending on the property size. Tyler photographs the inventory, notes the access constraints (stairs, freight elevator slot, HOA gate hours, Hana Highway timing if applicable), confirms the container size, and writes the binding figure that same business day.
Deposit and lock
$245 deposit holds the move-day on the dispatch board and the sail slot with Matson or Pasha. Balance is due at the loading milestone (off-island) or at the unloading milestone (on-island). If you cancel more than seven days before the move-day, the deposit is fully refunded. Inside seven days, we hold the deposit against the rebooked date (no forfeit; we just move it to the new calendar slot). If a hurricane or harbor closure cancels the sail, we eat the rebook fee on the Matson side and you pay nothing extra.
